Behind The Band

Joe King began playing at the age of 16 and was inspired by his parents love of classic rock, which grew into a passion for music. He began emulating some of his favorite musicians including John Frusciante, WEEN, and Pink Floyd to create his own style of playing. They play an instrumental role in enhancing the music with his savory guitar licks and his dynamic musicality. He's also currently in the prolific bands S.P.O.R.E. (psychedelic rock) and Follow The Monarchs (psychedelic prog rock). He as played private parties, a variety of music venues and major festivals, such as Hulaween, Purple Hatters Ball, Aura, and headlined festivals such as Orange Blossom Jamboree, Great Outdoors Jam, and Hometeam New Years Rally, and playing along side renowned artists like Stephen Marley and Willie Nelson.

[K 2the C] is the moniker of singer/songwriter K.C., given to her by childhood friends for her affinity for lyrical capabilities and her knack for turning verbose rap songs and heavy metal jams into sweet, soothing acoustic melodies. She has always been inspired by strong rhythmic lyrics from bands such as Rage Against the Machine, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles. Music has been in her heart from a young age, her mother was an avid piano player and would spend hours playing while K.C. sang along, and later, playing with friends around campfires and late night jams ignited a passion to create and share her own music. She has played numerous venues, restaurants, private parties, and festivals, such as Orange Blossom Jamboree, Hometeam New Years Rally, and Great Outdoors Jam. Through beautiful melodies and poetic words she invites those who hear her melodies to the wondrous beauty of the Universe and their place within it.
